On most Wednesdays, from September to May, we meet for a meal and fellowship.  We invite everyone to join us.

We begin at 5:30p.m., with a home-cooked meal, prepared by a team of cooks.    We ask that those age 18 and over pay for their meal.  The amount is determined by the cost of the food, and is usually about $5.00 per person.  Those under the age of 18 may eat for free.

After the meal (about 6:15), the children are dismissed to their activity while the youth and adults sing several contemporary Christian songs.   After the songs (about 6:30), the youth are dismissed to their activity, while the adults hear a short devotion from Pastor Dave or another adult member of the church.

Following the devotional time (about 6:45), those who do not need to go home are invited to join in a time of prayer.

The Wednesday night fellowship, known as "The Gathering," has remained one of the most popular programs instituted by Pastor Foster and Mary Jane Williams. On a typical Wednesday evening, as many as ninety people come together for a meal, worship, and testimony. Hester Gilpatric heads a large kitchen crew.  Kathy Haley and Pastor Dave Clark lead the congregation in worship through song, while Wandah Clark and Dave Hansen direct the technology.

All are welcome to join "The Gathering," Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. September through May, with the exception of major holiday weeks.

Please call to verify the dates.
